Here are the pic.'s from my John Day trip. Not a lot of fish, but quality fish. One was just over 20" about 5 lb.'s. Had to send a pic of our shore lunch our guide cooked for us in the dutch oven. Great trip all the way around. If any of you are interested in fishing over there I can hook you up with the best guide to take you.

April is here. Fishing Guides Northwest is at it's new location in the heart of Salmon and steelhead country on the Wilson River near Tillamook. If you are not familiar with this area Tillamook has five rivers flowing into one bay, all of which see returns of Salmon and Steelhead. This puts us close to the core area of alot of our trips. Our appologies for any problems reaching us during the move. Our on-line booking form should be up and opperational by April 6. In the mean time please call us to book a trip. This steelhead season was phenomenal with alot of nice fish caught. The other good news is that despite predictions from Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife returns of Spring Chinook apear to better than predicted. Sturgeon fishing is fair to good depending on where you are fishing. The lower river near Astoria should be picking up soon. If you are looking to target keeper sturgeon this is the best time to book a trip. For oversize sturgeon, that should start the last week of May. Don't forget our new semi-guided trips for smallmouth if you are looking for a fun economical trip. You can do the fully guided which is more money, but worth it just for the shore lunch. Please call us for the top guides in the Northwest.
